When I got there I found a book that is still today one of my favorite books. "100 Posters, 134 Squirrels" is a book by the artist/poster designer, Jay Ryan.

If you like poster designs, check it out.

He is one of my biggest inspirations for hand type and is the reason that I got into hand lettering in the first place. After years of following his work I have finally ordered some of his posters and I wanted to share them with you. I have been wanting to get one of his paintings for so long now and found out the other week that one of his painting is being sold as a poster. Well today I got back home from a trip to bald head island where the poster was waiting for me. My wife had secretly ordered the poster before we left for the trip. Check out how beautiful this painting is.
